My Weight Loss Story


During my JC years, I just could not resist the temptation to grab a sandwich after lunch and snack “a bit” during CCA practice.
Just like most JC students, I could sleep only 4-5 hours per day.
In addition, I always drank sweetened drinks instead of water.
As a result, I began to gain weight…

By end of my JC years, I was 52 kg! and I am only 156 cm tall.

I would not say that I was overweight or obese as my BMI was still in the normal range.
However, I looked kind of “swollen”

I did not realise that I was actually quite chubby until I saw the photos of my oversea trips.

When I was in Perth, some Australians even told me that my mom and I look like twins :’(

After my trip to Perth, I decided to go on diet.
I didn't want to look like an auntie anymore!
I avoided starch and carbohydrates and I started jogging.
I would jog around 4 to 5 times a week, about 30 min each time.
I could go for so many sessions of jogging as I was waiting for Uni to start.
And I lost 2 kg after a month!

However as school started, I could not continue my jogging sessions and my weight bounce back…

I even tried to reduce to one meal per day to maintain my weight. The result is… HORRIBLE!
